My set up for a wonderful afternoon. Frosted Flakes box isn't snacks, it's a makeshift trashcan which I pretty much filled after cleaning up the Quiet De Luxe. It was full of nasty grime and grit. |
Spastic might actually be an offensive word to UK readers, I don't know about Australia, but I used in the US way and looked it up later so I apologize if it came off as offensive at all. |
My blogging machine for the day, it shouldn't be with me for very much longer. |
Still working on this one but it is doing a lot better now than it had been. |
Wish I had a nice, idyllic space like your porch. I'm a fan of the Royal Empress, hope you can post about it.
ReplyDeleteThe Royal Quiet Deluxe looks in perfect condition. I have a very similar one, and it is amongst my most favoured typewriters both for looks and especially typing.
ReplyDeleteLovely day, lovely typewriter(s)... It sounds like you've got the whole package.
ReplyDeleteI like the QDL. Nice little machine that. As for the Empress... That'll be an awesome typewriter once you get it going!
ReplyDeleteThe Empress isn't mine, but it seems pretty sweet. I will blog on it before I return it.
ReplyDeleteI love QDLs, I own quite a few of them, I prefer the older ones, but these are awesome too!
That's a nice spot! I guess I'll need to wait for an outdoor spot like that. It just started snowing out here. ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great spot for typing. I did a double-take on the temperature, shouldn't you be under a few feet of snow or something at this time of year?
ReplyDeleteThat's the theory. The weather here doesn't follow the rules very well :)
DeleteI like your setup. That's the same kind of QDL I covered in leather!
